I'm pretty sure they'll stay with the double screen feature one last time though...there was the GB, GBC, and GBA. Then there was the DS, 3DS, and possibly a third model of the DS. Of course, there was many revisions, such as GameBoy Advanced SP, GameBoy Micro, DS Lite, Dsi, 3DS XL...
