During a recent Wii U Experience Nintendo representatives stated that the Wii U versions of Batman: Arkham city - Armored Edition and Assassins Creed III will run natively at 1080p so i guess thats good news.These games are launch titles btw. Nintendo's first-party titles will launch at 720p.

also they will be running at 60fps (rumor)
