Yeah, {color:COLOR;} changes the default text color.
For more variety you can feed in an HTML color code (If aqua, yellow, red, blue, lime, green, etc is too boring for you)

Another basic must know code would be background:
{background:COLOR;} or {background-color:COLOR;}

With these two codes you should have a decent, if somewhat limited profile.
