Improvement of CAPTCHA
Meh, CAPTCHA isn't needed for anything right now.
You'll find spambots aren't causing any trouble, it is just human spammers.
SomeLuigi is changing in 2015.
Dragnet (2012-04-03 19:49:29)I'd agree, but I have the sneaking suspicion that ANTIJunaid used a spambot. How else would he have been able to post the same message in every forum?
Regardless, since he is gone for now, you're right. It's mostly just human spammers. I was simply throwing the idea out as a "safety precaution" sort of thing.
What I wanna know is where's the caveman

For those who don't know, CAPTCHA, also known as reCAPTCHA, is the name of the most well-known program that generates a few random groups of letters (that may or may not form real words) or numbers, that someone must type in to confirm a certain action. On 4chan, it is used for posting and reporting other posts. On Encyclopedia Dramatica and here on 3DSPlaza, it is used for creating an account.
What I propose is this:
We use the two-word CAPTCHA instead of the four-digit-number one.
We use the CAPTCHA for forum posts, in order to prevent spambots, and to make spamming by hand a whole lot harder.
We use the CAPTCHA for sending PMs (this one isn't one of the better ideas, I just threw this in for the sake of advanced security).
We use the CAPTCHA for commenting on user profiles and 3D photos in the Gallery.
This will help the security of the site in order to keep the site safe from spammers and program-based spambots.
