When moderators ban a member, they often go on with something where they got banned for in the first place. Ofcourse they get warned, but what if he or she gets reported? The member might not remember what he or she got banned for. So my idea was that moderators can give reasons, only visible to the banned members. This reason may be displayed on the top home screen with a red color, or somewhere around the chatrooms. Displaying the amount of days someone is banned may also be an idea.

This is a good idea, or, instead of it just being visible to the user banned, it could be publicly displayed on the users profile with the amount of days banned.

Well, adding a banlist could be an idea instead of the 'Ad' option in the chat, but that means it will be pupblic, and it might emberass them.

Exactly what we need.

Possible configuration for moderators:

/ban u=BadUsername101 r*='Being bad.' d*=23

* optional -

if reason is missing: 'Self-explanatory'
if days is missing: Permanent Ban
if user is missing: Stupid n00b, you forgot the username!

I love the idea! There should be a list of banned members to look at on the home page with the number of days they have left and why they were banned. That way there will be no questions regarding the banning of members and they will be shamed in front of anyone who logs on that day. Maybe this will influence them to not break the rules anymore.
