BirdJesus (2016-11-17 23:15:10)Sun and Moon are the last major titles for the 3DS. Once the Switch comes out, Nintendo will stop putting as much effort into countering 3DS hacking. All we will see going forward are "stability" updates aimed to fix exploits. This hyperban will be the first and last of its kind, due to the fact that only people who got online early obtained their copy illegally.

BirdJesus (2017-04-29 23:23:26)Pokemon's biggest appeal is the monster-capturing aspect and the online player vs. player battles. The games have always had a lacking single-player, which is terrible for an RPG.
Sun and Moon were definitely a step in the right direction, but its main downfall is its very linear progression. There are very few out-of-the-way locations and routes like the previous games.
If the next mainline game fixes the linearity issues it would be my GOTY.

If you have an extra hacked 3ds that isn't banned, you can unban yourself by injecting the LocalFriendCodeSeed_B from the unbanned 3DS into the banned one. it will let you play online again. eShop and Miiverse bans are permanent for now, but all that means is that you'll have to get updates some other way. Online play bans should lift automatically in 15 days.
