carlos11 (2014-04-14 03:30:11)The only thing the Pokevirus does is double effort values gained, much like a macho brace. Pokemon infected with it will always have it but may only pass it on for a certain amount of time, at the end of which said pokemon will no longer be contagious. According to Serebii, this countdown may be up to 4 days long, though it can be frozen at any time by simply depositing the pokemon in the PC.

AceRayquaza (2014-04-15 11:40:08)only worth it if your doing IV breeding at want to keep all your spitbacks. theres enough space in the XY PC for 1 of every pokemon+pokemon form, as well as half a box or so left over for actual useful pokemon. at £5/€5/$5 a year, it's probably worth it. if your still active on Gen3-5, you'll need it to transfer.
AceRayquaza (2014-04-16 13:18:48)If you fill up every Box in XY, no more appear. You get more when you have captured 100, 200, 300, 400, 500 600, 700. after that, you get no more.
OtherSilhouette (2014-04-16 16:54:41)There is a way of bypassing the "security" of PokeBank by making Pokemon look super legitimate on Pokegen or other hacking software, but it doesn't really make Pokemon looked hack. Anyway, I don't see why hacked Pokemon are a problem at all if they're used for good purposes, or not used in combat. For example, I wouldn't have a 5 IV team if it wasn't for a hacked 6 IV Ditto.

Most hacks cannot pass through PokeTransporter V1.1. Especially not the obvious ones.
These include, but are not limited to:
* Shiny Dream World Pokemon (Pokemon caught from the Dream World cannot be shiny)
* Event legendary Pokemon in anything other than a Cherish Ball (Y'know, that useless rainbow Ball that Arceus that you got from Toys 'R' Us came in? Now it's a hack check pass. You're welcome.)
* Non-event legendary Pokemon in Cherish Balls
* Shiny-locked legendary Pokemon (Shiny Reshirams be damned)
* Pokemon hacked to be made Kalos Native upon transport
* Pokemon with illegal moves
* Pokemon with illegal abilities
* Pokemon with illegal types
* Event Legendary Pokemon with illegal OTs
* Pokemon labelled with illegal original location
* Pokemon with illegal bytes set (i.e. forcing a Blaziken to become a Mega Blaziken upon transport)
* Pokemon with illegal index numbers (These won't even be detected by the Transporter at all, and therefore won't be transported, this mostly falls under Props hacked outside of Pokestar Studios, only Pokemon from index no. 001-649 will be accepted)
PokeGen (the Pokemon Generator) can create Pokemon that can pass through undetected, mostly because there's really nothing different about them if you create them correctly.
