So there's a video circulating of people at a Smash Bros demo at Nintendo Canada HQ. Basically, while playing the discussion of new characters came up and the employee casually says.

"Pac-Man is one of the new characters we've announced at E3 we're pretty excited about that..."

Now I was told to listen carefully by my friend, as his next words were pretty hard to decipher. Word for word, he said.

It's fake. Rayman is only a trophy, just like Wonder Red.

The video itself is real. There's a chance that the Nintendo employee meant to say something else (Pac-Man maybe), but there's also a chance he accidentally leaked Rayman.

The trophy thing could work for and against Rayman honestly.

I should probably write a new story... but will I finish it?

His hitboxes would be either unrealistic or just op.

If he's already in the game as a trophy, he's not playable.

There have been trophies for every single playable character in the past games. I don't see why Sakurai would stop.

That I can definitely agree with. His game was literally the DS game. I'm like 99% sure Ubisoft wants a rep in the new game though.

So either Sakurai was trolling them with the trophy reveal, or he was teasing a Rayman reveal and the employee that slipped his tongue will ~~go missing~~ get fired very soon.

Eh, Sceptile would just be awkward in my opinion. The only reason I wanna see more pokemon is if Hitmonchan was made as a Little Mac alt.

I hate Sceptile, it's unlikely too. Sakurai would have had to know about OR/AS a LONG time ago, as rosters are decided a while before the games are in development.
