I've been able to load a video that was about 8:30 min long. But still I did get a few errors already. And the quality isnt that good either,

EDIT: No I've been able to load a 26 min video.

I have no clue whats going on with you, but (I just got the YouTube app) I watched a 10 minute video with no lagging and or errors or even buffering.

Honestly, I don't see what's so bad about it.

I loaded a 2 hour video with no errors whatsoever. Maybe it's your connection.

But I heard that it'll reset your system if you close your 3DS, reopen it, and do something on YouTube.

Netflix had those exact problems when it first came out on 3DS, Netflix released bunch of updates, now it runs smooth.

Many people has crappy Internet.

Obviously, all major issues with this app come from your connection; on mine, I loaded several 10-15 minute videos, in high-quality, and never once did it stop mid-play. :l

Hate it. It's so slow. The screen is small and it makes the videos look bad. I'll stick to my ipad for youtube videos.

Okay, I'm starting to get frustrated. I had virtually no problems yesterday, now I can't watch a single video without 10+ freezes followed by a reset. Stupid piece of crap application, knew it would end up being trash.

app is really slow to respond and the quality is disappointing as the 3ds could handle 480p -360p atleast. The layout for this app is almost they just copied the mobile app onto the bottom screen . Well hopefully google updates it :/

@RosalieYeah, it is kind of hard to read your writing... But you're both kind of right. Yes, Youtube does have the capabilities of eshop videos, it will never be the same quality. In fact, the resolution upgrades will be small, if not nonexistent.

The eshop only requires internet at the beginning to check for updates. That's why the eshop will still be running if you push the wireless switch (Same with Nintendo Video). Youtube requires constant connection, on a low-resolution screen, and with most videos shot by everyday video cameras. Don't forget, Nintendo's eshop videos are shot by frickin' camera crews. Also, Youtube's HD videos obviously would be nothing close to high definition on the 3DS's display. It's the same concept of a video looking slightly better when you're watching it offline. Youtube videos are uploaded by the general public, not formatted for the 3DS screen. That's while we'll never receive the quality of other mobile devices.
