If we can have BB codes in profiles, forums etc. why not have them in chat? I would certainly like to recommend a site through chat or make my text blue. Tell me what you think.

its an awesome idea but as told aerliyer on this forum:

1. no red text (faked warnings)
2. it may cause more lags...

I think we should not be able to post links in chat
1-it may be harmful
2-people will keep anoying users be over sending links
3-online dating sites may be used as links
4-it might make the chat slower
