I yawn as I walk out of the nursery, looking around and seeing nothing. I then walk to the prey pile, and jump in it, trying to make it so that no one can see me.

Darthkit burrows deeper into the pile of prey, hoping that Sparkstreak hadn't seen him.

Or at least that Sparkstreak would just walk away. However he had another plan if that failed.

"Got you!" I shout while landing on her, hopefully to not land on any of her wounds. (You still have wounds right?)

Novastripe returns later in the day with a squirrel and two mice, while the rest of the patrol sported robins and more mice. "The prey was running well today, thank Starclan."she says to herself. She starts to organize the border patrols for the day, excluding the one in which Silverstar was leading.
