(1) Clarification of the verse you picked from Surah Al-Imran:

In that verse God is talking about Him (note the capital W) and not the Muslims. God says those who do not believe in me (or the Qur'an), I will cast terror into their hearts.

The verse you picked from Surah A-Maidah:

God says that non-believers wants you (Muslims) to become like them, God says if these non-Muslims flee in the way of Allah from what is forbidden (don't do wrong, or, wants peace from you) then you can become friends with them, but if you then find them that they are leaving (to conspire against Islam), then you should kill them.
(This law is also followed by the west).

From Surah Al-Anfal:

Again, this verse says that God, Himself, will cast terror in the hearts of non-believers.

Surah A-Tawbah: When this verse was revealed, Muslims made a treaty with the idolaters, God said if these idolaters follow the treaty you should also, but if they do not follow the treaty and do against the treaty to harm you (in any way) then you are allowed to kill them, because they are a threat to you.

Verse 29 from Surah Al-Maidah:

God in the verse said that people of the Book, who tell you baseless things that Ezra is the son of God, and Messiah is the son of God, and perform and tells to perform unlawful things near the Masjid al Haram. You should fight them (note how God used the word fight) until they pay the fine.

Mega, this kind of misconceptions take place when you pick verses from anyewhere, read it from the start to the end to find the truth.
