ScootsRiver (2016-03-29 18:03:45)See, what that says to me is "True quality doesn't matter. If it's old, it's bad". I don't get it.
ScootsRiver (2016-03-29 23:17:26)Okay, number one, aren't you the one that said he'd prefer the show switches focus from M6 to CMC? Number two, this is like... The fifth time this show has added a lasting character (and don't say "but Glimmer was added to the main cast", because it makes literally no difference). Number three, there is no god damn way this show is exhausting creativity (and I'm not going to explain how atm). Number four, difficult to pull off? Literally one episode in, and she's already in my top 3 favorite characters. Unless this isn't what you meant. In which case, please explain.
But again, I don't give a [gfys], as long as the staff/crew keep producing quality episodes. And neither should you, or anybody. Shows like FOP or Spongebob should have ended a long time ago, because they became [gfys]. I say, if a show is good, it has every right to continue.
@Mods If you edit my post, I will edit my foot into your ass.

ScootsRiver (2016-03-30 11:04:25)"In "Amending Fences," Twilight is at her lowest low and goes to visit Celestia in the middle of the night. She tells her mentor that she has to give up her role as princess of friendship because of how her past actions have affected Moondancer. She says, "How can I tell others about the magic of friendship if I've killed that spirit in somepony else?" Celestia then surprises her by saying that the lesson Twilight is in Canterlot to learn is one that she herself has only recently learned. Twilight is surprised...Celestia knows everything about everything. But Celestia looks out the window at the moon and says, "Some relationships are so broken, so filled with bitterness and anger that they seem impossible to mend. But the lesson you're here to learn now is that it's never too late to repair a broken friendship." So Celestia uses her own experience, her gradual rebuilding of trust and friendship with her own sister, to tell Twilight that everyone goes through it. This gives Twilight the hope that she can fix things with Moondancer.
I thought it was a nice scene, but you only have 22 minutes and this was an easy cut." -M.A. Larson
Wow, aren't you guys so glad Larson didn't write for season 6?
"It has been one of the true joys of my life to work on MLP:FIM." And he's not coming back.

@Applebucker I disagree, but if you truly feel this way, blame Josh Haber. He is the head writer, after all.

ScootsRiver (2016-03-30 13:46:22)Amending Fences? That Was a cut scene. God only knows why it was cut, or replaced.
ScootsRiver (2016-03-30 16:01:19)@mega I loved The Crystal Empire two parter.
I also liked The Crystalling. Still, not as much as The Crystal Empire. But I still liked it, and I loved Starlight.
And yeah, tbh, we've been a bit harsh on season 3. I mean come on. This is the season that brought us Magical Mystery Cure. (No sarcasm. I loved MMC.)
Since nobody seems to have seen this, does Starlight remind anyone of a certain bacon haired girl? ; )

ScootsRiver (2016-03-31 11:49:57)Well, while I do think Starlights redemption itself was much better than Sunsets, you are very right in saying that it should have taken literally ANY time to forgive Starlight, and the "I'm not one to dwell on the past" from Twilight does not work, Haber.
Speaking of EqG, are we all excited for Legend of Everfree?
ScootsRiver (2016-03-31 15:40:12)Yeah. Although, you've got to admit, the climax of the movie and the animation during that scene was fantastic. Any news on what it could be about? I didn't even think everfree existed in the EqG universe.
^^Thanks. I almost ignored that, because I tend to ignore ALL compliments for fear of getting any sort of ego, even if it is just my signature. :v

I guess not. Anyway, even saying this episode is "Meh" would be kinda harsh. I liked the episode. Which is why I'm STILL trying to figure out why it was boring for me to watch a second time...
Hey... This show isn't bad. This show isn't even "meh". This show is still really good. What season are we in? OH, we're in season 6! What other cartoon can you think of that even going into its 6TH season, is still good?
Great job major cartoon networks. You're being beat by My Little Pony.
