I heard the Inkbrush was the worst. Is that a joke or is it OP?

Does the game have a dodge button? I'll be less likely to enjoy it if it doesn't.

There is no dodge mechanic. Most weapons can kill in less than four hits, and enemy ink causes you to move slower and take damage, so a dodging mechanic wouldn't change much.

The Inkbrush is fast. It lets you escape most fights unharmed, which is extremely useful in Splat Zones.

Camping rarely happens, as you'll probably die if you stand too close to the enemies' spawn for too long, as the spawn points prevent enemies from attacking the respawning squid kids. Pushing enemies back into their territory is very useful in Splat Zones, not so much in Turf War.

Splatoon ing sucks. It's not realistic, has no jets, no tanks, no helicopters, no 64-player battles, no destructible environment, not on PC, Xbone, or PS4, and not in First-Person. The People who play this ty ass game are pedophiles and little children. Battlefield is 9000 times better than oon, because it has everything other shooters don't have: destructible environment, realism, and 64-player battles.

I'm honestly surprised how well the Splattershot preforms. It's got decent coverage, fire rate, and kill power, and is reliable in almost any situation. The Tentatek Splattershot variation is especially effective in Splat Zones, as the Inkzooka is an amazing special.

tbh, Splatoon is kind of mediocre. It's still a solid 7/10, but the hype has worn off and I'm ready to tear the game's flaws apart. Balance is a huge issue in this game. Weapons can be put in two tiers: Viable and Not Viable. There is no middle ground, you'll end up becoming a liability due to choosing a bad weapon.
In Splat Zones, Covering turf does not matter, only the area around the zone and the zone itself matter. This completely kills some weapons in terms of viability, and bolsters the standings of others. Since turf coverage does not matter, splattering opponents is now the goal of the player. Weapons that can kill in 3 hits or less dominate, such as the Custom Blasters, Splattershot Pros, .96 Gals, and the .52 Gal Decos, the most used weapons in this mode. You will rarely see weapons such as the Aerospray, which has amazing coverage but abysmal range and damage output, because they are not as effective as other weapons. Sure, an Aerospray can kill very quickly at close range, but a .52 Gal Deco can still kill in two hits at its maximum and minimum range. Splat Zones suffers from rewarding splats more than covering turf, which creates a clear rift between good and bad weapons.
Turf Wars are more diverse in terms of weapon usage, but certain weapons preform better than others. The Splattershot Jr. and Aerospray RG/MG have the fastest firing rates in the games, and a lot of spread as well, making them fantastic at covering turf. Their specials complement their amazing coverage. The Jr. has access to the Bubbler, which blocks every attack in the game, including Killer Wails, the infamous AoE OHK* special. The Aerospray MG comes with the Inkzooka, which is a direct upgrade to the Charger. It has range comparable to an E-Liter, except it can hit multiple targets with one shot, and requires no charge-up time. The Aerospray RG comes with the Inkstrike, the special that dominates in Splat Zones. These weapons are easy to counter, though. As I stated in my paragraph discussing Splat Zones, weapons with better damage output and range can easily splat a reckless player using an Aerospray or Jr. Splattering your opponents prevents them from covering turf for a bit, so splats have a purpose. Turf Wars are far more balanced than Splat Zones, but some weapons simply fulfill the goal "Ink the most turf to win!" more effectively than others.

*AoE OHK means Area of Effect and One Hit Kill.
