- Cadence and Shining Armor are going to have a child
- The final shot/picture is everyone in Ponyville. Each Season we see the picture grow larger and larger. It's hard to get much larger than that.
- Moral of the episode was "if you lose your old friends, go make new ones", which could have been a metaphor for the show ending and never seeing the mane 6 again
- Season 5 finale was very final episode-like. It was self reflective in a "look at all the villains that would have taken over if we weren't there" way.
The only endgames that aren't accomplished yet are Rainbow Dash's dream to be a Wonderbolt, and MAYBE the Flim Flam brothers being reformed.

Also that was a year ago, so even if it did mean a new season each year, we'd have 4 more seasons, not 5.

Not really... The only thing that made it feel like a series finale was how it ended. And I don't mean like... the last ten minutes. I mean the very end.
