Sparkstreak waits until the fox goes limp and fights another fox

The fox growls at Novastripe, more out of annoyance than pain or fear. It attempts to shake her off, but she crunches down harder, until she can hear bone and feel it against her teeth. Now the fox yelps and tries to hop backwards, but Novastripe trips it. As the fox rights itself, favoring its injured leg, Novastripe rushes forward, feigning high then ducking low, raking her claws against the foxs underbelly. Yelping again, the fox scurries from ccamp, abandoning its target, the kits. Novastripe spits fur and blood from her mouth and turns to look. Only three foxes remain, and all were being battled. Sparkstreak and Silverstar were together, a dead fox between them, and Thundercat bravely defended against the fox (he?) Was battling. She rushed to help (him?).

I pant as I notice I was fighting side-by-side with Sparkstreak. "Good job. But it doesn't mean trouble is over yet."

Novastripe battered at the fox until it gave up, realizing it was outnumbered. She is tired, and doesnt think she can go on, and just as shes ready to give up, someone screeches "VOCTORY!!!" And she realizes the foxes were gone, only the dead one lying in camp as a trophy remained. She raised her head in a victory yowl.

I hear the gunshot reverberate through the area. "Everyone who has been injured, report to the medicine cat den. Other than that, i'll be in my den if needed." I limped towards my den to fall into a soothing sleep.

Novastripe limps toward Echoheart, a nasty bite on her shoulder and one of her paws was twisted painfully. but my clan is safe...thats worth it.

She waits her turn to be healed.

She hears the gunshot, but can only hope the two-legs with thier firing weapons quicker than a snake would keep thier distance.

Two men walk into the territory. One says, "Damn! I missed 'em!" in a British accent. The other man, obviously American, replies, "You can't catch a sloth." The British man says, "Anyway, are we gonna take these cats or not?" still using the British accent. The American man says, "I don't know, James...cats are hard to find now-of-days. They're almost rarer than jabberjays." A female's voice then is heard. "At least 1 cat. Get 1, and you get double the pay," it says. Thundercat leaps into a bush as the voices get closer.
