I kind of support this idea. It would give a reason for the forumfags to go to the chats. When they see that it isn't as bad as they think, they might use that part of the site, too. It could help make a universal community again.

The Big Bang Theory is like Global Warming, the name of it says one thing and the way the theory words it is in another.

All matter was not condensed into a singular point and then exploded outwards. It's that all observable matter was condensed into a point whilst the universe expanded out to it's current size.

More like a big stretching than a big bang, actually.

Secondly, Atheism and Science tend to be related, but are not mutually inclusive.

Honestly we don't need this again at all not one bit, everyone who didn't get an icon ed and complained. Plus do you really wanna be annoyed by a noob or someone who is still new to the site asking how you got your icon or can they have one? No, this is probably why it won't happen this year.

You do realize that the Bing Bang has nothing to do with Abiogenesis, something which science has no actual answer for, and likely never will?

Secondly, again, Science and Atheism is not mutually inclusive, it's just that there are no real alternatives to sating inquiries of the self and of the world, asides from schools of philosophy. Atheism is just not believing in a god, has nothing else attached to it, and makes no explanation as to how the world or humanity came to be.

Also, your main reason is "Pissing off the atheists that don't celebrate it" as for supporting this. I'll give you two words. Let them sink in.
