In the video? I guess that's a possibility, but the conversation was "Newcomers". I dunno though, my guess was that he meant Pac-Man. (If it looks like I want Rayman in, I really don't care. I'm playing Devils advocate though, just to show all sides of the topic.)

If Sceptile is in, I don't think I'll use it. I'd rather have Torterra in. Maybe even Sableye.

Lol, Torterra is ew, no one even likes it, and Sableye...? That doesn't even make sense. Mewtwo makes more sense than that.

I like Torterra more then Sceptile (but honestly Torterra has no chance). Sceptile is in and of itself a very unappealing Pokemon and even in it's own game's competitive meta it kinda sucks. Sableye would be better, but it's too small. Mewtwo I can imagine coming back for several reasons.

(Hitmonchan needs to be a Little Mac costume)

No, Jiggly makes more sense than any other pokemon because the original 12 were confirmed to make it back in the game a long time ago.

Well I think that Mewtwo would be in waaaaaay before Sceptile. Like Sakurai apparently even shouted out he was thinking of putting Mewtwo in the game during the roundtable.

Sakurai would have had to know about OR/AS a couple of years ago for Sceptile.
Apparently X/Y were in development quite a long time ago. Sakurai would have known with Greninja in Smash.
Sceptile would be awkward
Mewtwo has been proven to work without it being awkward.
Mewtwo is more popular.
Sceptile is a fan favourite, but let's be real: He's as popular as Spritzee compaired to Mewtwo.
I can find more on YT.

Just incase anyone objects:
Mewtwo was only cut in Brawl due to time constraints. Lucario hardly made it.
Greninja looking like Mewtwo means nothing. Psuedo Palutena.

I was surprised when I found out about the Mewtwo files in Brawl.

Also, I don't even think Sakurai knew about Greninja being a starter when making this game, which would mean this game was starting production WAAAAY back.
