I also have a bunch of friends that I'd never see again because the site I met them on closed down.

How would you explain the speakers not turning on then? ^

It reminds about my bro's DSiXL. It got broken and it won't respond. Well, my brother will get a 3DS one day.
Anyways, I have no clue how to fix your broken 3DS. I'm sorry.

Switch the battery and gently squeeze the top and bottom screen.

Somehow where the hinges are located, the wires are now messed up/disconnected/dislocated and that's why the speakers and top screen are not working.....but....why is the bottom not showing either......hmmm...

Hang in there I'm getting close to a solution for ya...

All that up there is a thought process

Thanks / I thought about it a few times.

@youngman....

When you play multiplayer on mk7 and press the power button, you create a disconnection from the online portion of mk7 and it has to load.

Another possibility is that when you turn on you 3ds and it loads The menu in etc, its not accomplishing this task for an unknown reason. Something is not activating....and its causing a freeze before anything happens....

Quick question- has the game cartridge been in the whole time?
Just to get this idea out of my head, try turning off the wireless, taking out the sd card, and the game cartridge. This will cut back on loading time...

Still getting closer

Nothing is happening once the power light goes on remember? The wireless switch never turns on. I took all my stuff out too. -mcwolf

Well that didn't work well.....Oh I forgot about the the hinges in their condition. Did you notice anything wrong with the hinges out of the ordinary......if not then it's the chip and needs that repair.

Actually, the notification light turns on when dying still, but nothing strange.

Here's how that went with calling Nintendo - A fictional story.

So, I went on 3DSPlaza and saw KeeronB's post:
'or compain to nintendo, be a nerd about it, call them, make it seem like THAT 3DS is your world and say u have no money '

So I called up Nintendo.

Guy: Hello, what is your problem?
Me: Yeah, my 3DS broke. I have no mone-
Guy: BYE!

Sorry for the bump, but I've gotten a bit of an update.

The 3DS is now showing the screen for a fraction of a second before snapping into sleep mode. Showing it's indeed a problem with the magnets. Any way to fix this?
