Yes but what I ment is that there's always a different version of the same product. No matter what is the the total statistic audience it's Aimed for its going to sell for a little while. Just look at the gameboy micro it only needed to sell so many then they stoped em. This is only for a profit gain. Let's look at price... The 3ds and 3dsXL is going for 169.99 and 199.99 respectfully, now the 2ds is 129.99 it's a 40 dollar difference. The 40 buck difference is what's going to sell this thing when it comes out in October plus don't forget pokemon X and Y.

True story right here. When I was in school I talked to peeps about Nintendo games, they don't really care for em. I was like why? You have a DS Lite? They said this is only for pokemon and thats all I use it for. I said there's Mario and Zelda don't forget...but no joke here's what they said, it's not my type of style....etc.

I hope you understand why they are marketing this system in existence, it's mostly for kids but on the other hand it's for peeps that only play specific kinds of games and don't care for gimmicky features (i don't think there that much of a gimmicks) in the mean time saving that 40 bucks for the next pokemon game.

All in all it's just to cash in a quick profit but yet get that little niche audience to come out of that little corner there in.

All the companys are rich in billions but they need to make a steady income every quarter. Apple is based on a 2 year contract for their iPhones people have to pay ex amount of dollars every month to keep thier little apples stay connected to the phone towers. Nintendo is unique in their business strategy. Just let them do their job for this little 2ds thing is not going to doom them, make them die, or to make them already dead. Nintendo has been around for over a hundred years and they can last another with their monetary status.

It's just who can make the most money in a financial quarter.

please the 2ds is the same size as the ds. they CAN HOLD IT.

anyone still complaining and trying to prove with such ignorant points should just stop and get over it. its simply a budget model and your complaining will do nothing about it

I feel bad for my 7 year old cousin. He has to reach to press Y. I agree, how will 5 year olds hold this? Does this even fit in theit pockets? I think Nintendo made a desperate move to make something new with this.
