Well to decide i have owned both 3ds and dsi and there both cool but the 3ds is still popular. And plus they have loads of apps in Nintendo eshop. And you can check out future games.

Get a DS game and play it on your 3DS. It looks like crap. Then play ANY 3DS game. Huge difference.
