Welcome to lukewarm news. Today, we discuss the latest entry in the Dead Or Alive Xtreme Beach Volleyball spinoff series, Xtreme 3.

That's all I got for ya'll right now. As you probably know, the game features tan lines and occasional 'wardrobe malfunctions' on its largely chested female cast, so maybe, in light of the recent Nintendo censorships, this was to be expected. Although, with the success of the localised and uncensored Senran Kagura series, perhaps... not?

Probably going to end up importing it too, but not really for myself; I don't like playing the Xtreme games, but my Fiancée does, and I don't mind watching Her play.

And with visuals like that, can you blame me?

Wish Tomonobu Itagaki was still there, tho. He said recently that if he was, X3 would have all the female characters, not just a select few. And I'm pretty sure the story for DOA5 would've been top-notch, and had none of the 'Ultimate Last Round' nonsense, or gone overboard with wildly overpriced DLC...

Well, last round wasn't a bad idea. The characters actually do look quite a bit better on PS4 and it was a great deal if you didn't get suckered into ultimate. Ultimate was pretty stupid and pointless. And yeah, story mode was butt. Loved it in dimensions, 5's was just...stupid. Damn shame, because with their engine they could've done some awesome stuff. But literally the only noteworthy thing was Kasumi reconciling with Ayane and Hayate and they had to rehash Alpha.

Porting it to next-gen consoles was OK, but they shouldn't call a game 'Ultimate' just to turn around and release a next-gen expanded port with loads of exclusive content. Again. And I'd rather not gripe about the story; I'd be here all day if I started to pick it apart. But...

Not gonna lie though, I loved the dumpling fight and Bass's "Don't touch my baby!"
Nothing will top Zach's retarted dialogue when he climbed the tri tower tho.

Forgot to mention that the SJWs are going after PlayAsia now because they plan on selling import copies for North American gamers. At that point, the Anita Sarkeesians and Zoe Quinns of 'Murican society just want full control of the media.

He's a great character in general. Team Ninja does great with the hammy aspects of doa, just wish they would take the serious stuff more seriously.
Soooo much potential.

I liked the small segments of DoA Dimensions that took themselves more seriously (such as the small prerendered cutscenes which featured Hayate and Ryu Hayabusa kicking major ass) more than the bits in between.
But some parts were just awkward as . I found myself cringing more with the sections of Kasumi Alpha than the others, for example when Christie is going to kill Helena but then Bayman appears and then Kasumi Alpha comes in like "you're gonna kill daddy toooooo D;".

also, speaking of DoA, just recently found out that the Spartan from 4 is canon to Halo.
