imtheboss722 (2013-12-14 01:10:45)I think Nintendo limited the flash capabilities to only Youtube. I tried to use the application's web browser, but nothing was working. Kind of pissed Nintendo focused on that when there are people actually having issues.

Green_plesioth (2013-12-14 03:47:12)This is off-topic, but there is also a StreetPass Mii Plaza update that i assume also does absolutely nothing

Nin10dude789 (2013-12-16 21:06:06)You do realize Nintendo has nothing to do with the app. The real company we have to deal with is Google.

imtheboss722 (2013-12-17 02:08:10)Well, I don't know what Google was thinking. I honestly don't care about the resolution; it's on about the same caliber as most mobile devices. But overall, it's just inconsistent and highly unreliable.

Screamer (2013-12-17 05:06:57)Nintendo has to approve of apps before they are put on the eshop. Nintendo has failed again.
The secret shall be shared. PM for more info.
Dragnet (2013-12-17 05:53:00)Calm down, kiddos. The update adds the ability to load videos on Youtube directly from Miiverse. If someone posts a video on Miiverse, you can use the Youtube app to watch it on 3DS. That's all I know. Your sooper seekrit highly-dumbed-down Flash/HTML5 browser is safe.

imtheboss722 (2013-12-19 02:38:45)My Youtube used to work in the parts of my house where the internet was weak... Now, it won't play for a second unless I'm close to the router. Also, I have to sign in every time I load up the app? And confirm my age repeatedly for 18+ videos?! Whai? *-*

imtheboss722 (2013-12-19 02:41:14)And my super secret dumbed- down Flash Browser no longer has flash...

Nin10dude789 (2013-12-19 16:31:20)Still works for me. You guys have the crappiest Internet ever.

As I went to load up my Youtube app a few short moments ago, a message gave me the option to redirect to the eshop and proceed to an update screen. As you can probably guess, I anxiously accepted. 30 seconds and 114 blocks of space later, I found myself on the application once more.
First off, no noticable changes were made. The resolution was still rough, and thankfully, the "hidden browser" was still functional. The update may have made it more stable for people with crappy internet, but Youtube has run smoothly without a hiccup for me, so I cannot make that judgement. Let me know below if the update has improved your usage in any way(s)!
