Haven't made a topic in a long time.

Lately I've seen users bringing up the topic about how some chat moderators are only in the most populated chat, this is true, but this does not mean that we don't check the other chatrooms.

Most of the time we visit other chats, there isn't much going on, so we usually go to other chatrooms where we can actually start conversations, and like SomeLuigi posted on Forum thread: 48946 (page 3), we do get carried away and forgot to check for rule breakers.

Yes, is it our responsibility to make sure users are following the rules, but we can't be everywhere at once, so I think a good solution would be to make a command where moderators can be requested to a certain chatroom. For example, if a user in chat green noticies a rule breaker, they'd type a command like "/req user is swearing" and it'd show up as an alert to all active moderators, and to prevent abuse of the command, the user who sent the request would be posted on the alert.

Um, actually, this could be a Spam attack for the mods, like this.

Say if Username1 was swearing, and Username2 is reporting. Username2 can just do the /req over and over making the Mods frustrated.

True. Maybe the message will only show up once per # minutes when a mod has been requested. For example, if a user has been swearing and someone types the command, it will only alert the moderators once, and the command can only be used in that chatroom again in 5 minutes.

@Junaid What if a Mod is "Afk" and Username2 just reported, would there be an "OK" button to confirme it?
SackThing101 (2013-07-01 21:57:21)
And I've seen something like this before...

Yay. I want this, instead of having to go ALL THE WAY TO THE @§?!¤¶¢§€¢¶£$>£†×$¿ Help desk!
It's time for review, kiddo!
MeNobody14 (2013-07-15 02:58:34)
It should be similar to the whisper command, in which you can easily choose whomever broke a rule.

I agree, in some ways. First, What if whenever the censor was triggered, mods were automatically alerted without having to request one? Otherwise, wonderful idea and additions Junaid and SackThing101. +1!
