Hello there, lots of you have been wondering whether it's possible to use xxx feature to make an app/game for the Nintendo DSi/3DS.

This thread (yes, I admit, I'll sticky my own thread this once) is aiming to clear up on what is possible or impossible.

However, nobody said this will stay like this forever!


Possible:
Anything that isn't impossible.



Impossible:
-using the Nintendo DSi or Nintendo 3DS Cameras.
-using the Nintendo DSi or Nintendo 3DS Speakers (or earphones/headphones)
-using the Nintendo DSi or Nintendo 3DS Microphone.
-downloading files onto a Nintendo DSi.
-uploading from a Nintendo DSi.


There, I hope that cleared up some concern, and as always, you can comment on this thread nd point anything out / ask anything.

@Justus: Well, actually almost every in-browser camera interacting is done with Flash...

And Flash is far more advanced for creating online games, though javascript is enough to create some nice basic games, just like one of my new projects:

Anyways, I wish I had thousands of arms, so I'd be able to create games in no-time

People just need to understand the fact that both the Nintendo DSi/3DS don't support flash, so when suggesting ideas please remember that some hardware (microphone, speakers, camera...) won't be compatible with browser games.

One simple thing to learn. The dsi and 3ds's browers do not support flash.
Easy to remember, non-confusing, yet many people don't know.
