I wanted to post a countdown to Nintendo's top 10 failures. Note that these are in order and that 1 is being the worst. LET'S GO.

10. The 3DS
Overpriced launch screen, poor battery life, and lack of built in 2nd circle pad for modern gameplay.

9. Wii Shortsightedness
No HD graphics which failed to compete with the PS3 and 360.

8. DVD Playback & Online Play
Gamecube lacks in online play and failed to have a regular disc for DVD play.

7. Luring Away Hardcore Gamers
The Gamecube design lured away many hardcore gamers due to it's big purple lunchbox shape design.

6. Censorship
Many hardcore gamers crawled to the Genesis because Nintendo censored out Mortal Kombat's blood.

5. Losing Square Support
Square-Enix were synonymous with Nintendo, Nintendo refused to adopt CD tech and they went crawling to the PS.

4. N64 - Sticking With Cartridges
It costed Nintendo alot of money and they couldn't give developers the memory they wanted for their games.

3. Virtual Boy
The Virtual Boy (aka the Fail Boy) was a fail attempt of Nintendo to try to make a 3D console back in the 90's.

2. Philips CDi
Nintendo abandoned plans for a disk-based attachment for the SNES to partner with Sony to partner with Philips and the console result was horrible. The games were so bad they spawned the YouTube Poop series.

1. Inadvertently creating the Playstation brand
Not only did Nintendo do the unthinkable by screwing over a fellow Japanese company with the SNES add-on and CDi fiasco, but they also caused Sony to realize they can produce a system better than Nintendo's. Thus the Playstation brand was born.

You kids point out the non fails. This is the list of FAILS. So stop saying the N64 didn't fail11! it was the 1st 3d console!

You guys can't take one little failure that happened inatead you give terrible excuses that the system didn't fail itself. Of course it didn't you idiots. I'm pointing out the action that failed. In your overall perspective you're just trying to back off your little hobbies.

Loving the fanboy rage. Yes, lack of HD on the Wii was a huge fail, considering there were PS2 games and original Xbox games that supported it.

"But it sold better!"

It DID sell better, but that was in the past, the Wii has been floundering since 2011, it's getting killed off while the PS3/360 are still selling.
